Steveston, British Columbia offered up a port that could be described as a seafood fresh market. Boats dock and become vendors for fresh shrimp, fish, crab, etc. This one vendor flash froze whole fish and had them for sale. I could not pass up a chance to take a few pictures of them. I personally did not want to list them in “fish textures” and abstract seems to be a pretty good description. You do get to see an eye, the scales, the colors and textures of the fish. For fun, and to see the context in which these textures came from, I have included a snapshot of the place from a distance. I always find it interesting to see where the textures came from [if possible].
