Tree Moss Textures from Stanley Park

If you’re ever in Stanley Park – Vancouver, BC – you’ll realize that the park offers amazing, historical, earthy textures.  I could have spend days in this place.  We walked around the park admiring the scenery and making note of the devastation that was caused by the cyclone a few years ago.  It looked as of the park was logging the trees but it was still cleaning up the mess.  This park was all I had dreamed it to be.  It is one reason alone to move out west.  Make sure you check them out at full resolution 4288×2848 – there is one that the moss looks like fur.   I can’t help but think of some kind of leprechaun.  I began shooting the texture photographs later in the day as we needed to get back for the 5pm bus into the downtown.  I was fortunate enough to snag these 4 textures and hope they can be of some great use to you in design.
