Having returned from my trip to British Columbia and Alberta, I was inspired to create a Earthy Texture Pack. I had seen amazing trees and landscapes and I wanted to zoom in to try and capture some of the details that make up the whole. The tree bark textures are mainly from Stanley Park in Vancouver. Some of the Moss textures are from Stanley Park and another forest we found while searching for the Twilight Filming Crew [don't ask lol]. Some of the other tree/moss textures are from Riverview Hospital – a hospital that turns mental illness into mental wellness. The Hospital was pretty interesting because it had a bunch of abandoned buildings there. I wish I could have got inside. Finally, the rock textures are from Red Rock Coulee Natural Area in Medicine Hat, Alberta. These rocks were massive and seemed totally out of place. It was as if they fell and landed there. It was really an awesomely interesting place to see so I was sure to snag a few more shots of the rocks for textures. The textures are all high resolution and available for download under the creative commons license.

You can download the pack as a zip form [it will be added once it is finally uploaded] or you can click on the thumbnail images to download only specific images.
