My name is Scott Webb and I heart photographing different textures. My goal is to try and provide really high quality textures for anyone that can find them useful [with a creative commons license]. This site is to provide the texture images, but also to help out with other beneficial information regarding tutorials, news, inspiration, showcases, and ways to make money. I will also put some of my own idea’s to generate income to use in the future.
Most, if not all, textures should be photographed with my Nikon D300 DSLR. The Nikon D300 produces images at 12mp and I will have them at 300dpi. I have uploaded images to other microstock sites in the past with success, thus I have been through their rejection process. I try and apply the information gained from those experiences to my images here so that they can be of exceptional quality.
I am constantly brainstorming new or new ways to explore textures. While my list has grown quite extensive, I am always open to suggestions and requests.
